Dear Mother,
So far my adventure to the world of the unknown has been fine. Nursing training has been scheduled for the week. Haven’t done it yet but I love every minute of this.
Hope you are all well
From your dearest child

To My Dearest Mother,
I’ve started my job, I felt fine for the first few days but now I’m scared. Seeing the soldiers injured. Its making me realise that this war may not be worth such pain but I am well and will keep safe
From your loving child

To My Sweet Mother,
I’ve just saved a soldier’s life. It might be amazing for you to hear but I do it every hour. It will be worse after the big push but as ever I am safe and enjoying my nursing life close to the front line.
From your dearest
Emeline
